Prince and The New Power Generation
The NPG Festival evolves from the Prince’s present world tour ‘Welcome to America’ which has been huge success in the USA with more than 250.000 visitors if you only count the Los Angeles concerts. In his own words Prince describes the tour and the NPG Festival as a historic event: “The festival will play host to real music by real musicians.”
Practical information
The questions can be many when you are visiting a festival. Here you will soon be able to find all practical information about the festival area, transportation, food & beverages etc.

Amager Strandpark, 2300 København S (Next to Metro 5-Øren)
GENERAL:
This is an open aired and fenced festival.
ATM: Please bring cash with you. Only limited ATM’s and it’s not possible to buy with Visa or similar credit cards in bars, food stores etc.
Transportation: We strongly recommend public transportation because of limited parking opportunities next to 10-Øren.
GENERAL RULES:
It’s not allowed to bring any beverages, food, chairs etc. into the festival square. It’s possible to buy various kinds of foods and beverages at the festival*.
Cameras: No professional camera equipment is allowed. ONLY small pocket cameras mobile phones allowed.
Body search: Everyone will be body searched at the entrances.
*Persons with illnesses can bring beverages and food if medical documentation is presented.

There are three different entrances to the festival square:
A) The Purple VIP Lounge Experience ticket: Lagoon Bridge (Iskiosken)
B) The Purple VIP ticket: Amager Strandvej 246 (Across Kastrup Fort)
C) The Purple VIP ticket + Inner Circle: Amager Strandvej 246 (Across Kastrup Fort)
D) Regular ticket: Hedegårdsvej (5-Øren)

DOORS:
Saturday: Opens 13 PM. The concerts end around midnight.
Sunday: Opens 12 PM. The concerts end around midnight.
CHILDREN:
Children under 12 years accompanied by an adult get in for free.

There are different categories available for the NPG Festival:
Quite extraordinary ticket buyers who have already bought a ticket to 6th August can buy tickets for the 7th August with heavily discounted prices until the first Monday August pm. 08.00:
